Dog Walking
Walks to provide physical and mental stimulation and play to eliminate
boredom on a long day! Walks will vary due to a pets and owners requirements
and preferences! I will generally provide at least half an hours good
walking/running/playing (excluding any travel to walk areas) or some nice
strolling for the older animals... whatever the weather!
Dog visits
Pop in visits, for varying lengths of time as required when owners are
away for meetings, planned days out or unexpected days out etc. This can
include a walk/feed and will generally break up an otherwise long day.
Cat feeding
Sometimes it's stressful for Cats, and owners alike, to use catteries.
I can help by popping into your home once or twice a day as requested
to put down fresh food and water, change litter and to give cuddles and
attention as desired! I can keep up with their normal routine as requested,
i.e Grooming, administering toothpaste/hairball products etc. Cats can
be quite independent and can almost look after themselves whilst owners
are away, so sometimes one longer visit per day is sufficient, although,
for those cats who are more like little doggies and love human attention
I will pop in twice daily as requested.
Puppy visits
If your planning to get a new puppy and are worried about days you may
have to be away for any length of time I can come in and help through
the first stages of settling the pup into a new home! Fun and interaction
= a content and happy dog!
During the above services I can also continue a 'lived-in'
look to the house during my visits when otherwise it could appear noticeably
empty, I will open/close curtains, feed plants, put rubbish out etc as
you request!
Small Animals
Having looked after small pets myself for a number of years, both personally
and during my veterinary nursing, I can help out with rabbits, guinea
pigs, hamsters and other small furries. I can pop in and care for them,
feeding, keeping their water supply topped up, sorting of hutches, making
sure there kept nice and clean, letting out in the garden as/if requested,
and cuddles of course!
Pet to vet transport (Cats)
If your struggling to get your cat to the vets, give me a call and I can
arrange transport, if they need to be there for the day or more, I can
pick them up, and then deliver them back when ready to go home , if its
a routine consultation for repeat prescriptions, a check up, or a new
worry, I will accompany the cat and let the vet know of signs and symptoms
as communicated by yourself, and will beable to confidently update you
on my return, having seen many a consultation in my career at the vets!
Applying or administering prescribed medication
If your pet has been prescribed a course of Tablets, eye/ear drops, an
application of topical cream, or just been diagnosed as diabetic, needing
injections, and you don't feel quite confident enough at administering,
or you need an experienced extra pair of hands to help, then give me a
ring and I will pop by and help!
Worming
It is important for both you and your pets health to keep up to date with
worming treatment If your pet is tricky to worm (as lots can be!) I will
come by and administer the tablet or apply the spot on treatment for you.
Please purchase the worming treatment from your pets registered Vets before
hand.
Fleas
Fleas are nasty parasites and are more likely to be seen as the warmer
weather appears. I can give your pet a general flea check and apply flea
treatment if necessary. Please purchase the flea treatment from your pet’s
registered Vets before hand.
